Compost: A Microcosm of Stewardship

One tenet is passing on more to the next generation. Composting - simple, effective and inexpensive - is a perfect example of this stewardship. It is accessible to all but the most urban dwellers. It allows for reducing waste, eliminating chemical use, and nourishing the gardens. And it rewards patience.

And what could be more satisfying for anyone than taking your kitchen scraps, and not only not sending it to a landfill, but enriching next year's gardens?

i think you will need a daily note on the best green" for our prep planet in 2010 with your earth friendly tips there
another daily note on the best greens from your garden or the best greens to eat....with some organic tips, menus.

both of the above for preps like me who want to learn more green living...even though we're prep to the bone in 100% cotton
but not quite as earthy granola crunch as others...
for garden planting ideas and your garden ideas and photos
for table recipes from your garden and what's good for your body...100% cotton outside, greens inside.
and of course green for your home color and cleaning/organizing.

griff's family may have been here to greet the mayflower, but i'm the one who made sure they were dressed weel!
