Brooks Brothers. The no-longer-offered (although I wish they did) "fun shirt." Worked for B2 in the mid-80s and sold many. Wearing the single-colored yellow stripe version even as I write this.

Ralph Lauren made that shirt and I had one in regular stripes like that and one in seersucker stripes.
Although I know it is not, it looks rather similar to the Hanna Andersson sleepwear you showcased previously.

Like many of you, I would have guessed BB, and would have been wrong. Attractive shirt no matter who made it.
Does bring up the point, that at one time, BB came up with some incredible innovations. Pretty sure they originated the "fun shirt". It instantly made it permissible for button down men to wear things with some flair. BB was the standard for what was permissible, when they ventured forth with the "fun shirt".
About the same time they brought out a pink OCBD. Again a stroke of genius. A little out of the ordinary, but since it came from BB, it became quite proper.
Those were the halcyon days of the Golden Fleece.
Like the rest of you, I'll be interested to see where this one originated. My guess would have been wrong, but still brought back good BB memories.

@raed - While no one has guessed the manufacturer of the shirt yet, Anonymous was spot on about the belt. It is a Kiel James Patrick, from his new Ohanzee belt collection, which will be available this Friday. I can tell you first-hand that the belt is fabulous!
Ha! I meant Orvis (spelled correctly) I wish Orvis would update/revamp their women's department and consider small sizes again. Their men's department is still quite good and the sporting goods/equipment offering is great - I took my first fly fishing lesson in the parking lot of their Houston store.
My guess is that is from Mercer & Sons!

I know I have seen this shirt at some point in my 51 years on this earth! The cut looks to be a mens shirt as it fits you a bit large. Maybe earlier LLBean? Eddie Bauer? The colors are so spring!

Ralph Lauren made an essentially identical mens' version of this shirt a few years ago.
I had to go look at mine - J. Crew. I thought they were exactly alike, but nope. Very similar copy of the Vintage Sero, but not exact! Fun game, Muffy!! xoxo
Muffy, thank you so much for the information about the belt. I had thought it looked like KJP, but didn't see that item on the website. I'm so looking forward to Friday now - I can see that belt becoming a summertime staple.
It makes me a little melancholic to think of that wonderful shirt as 'vintage Sero'. (I suppose it also makes me a little vintage.) Wish there were more like them being made now. Like some of the other commenters, I so miss the B-squared Fun Shirts.

I wore my brooks brothers one like this a couple of days ago.
Reyn-Spooner? Yes, I know they known for reverse-print Hawaiian shirts but they offered a fun-shirt one year. I own one.
Worked as a haberdasher for years and my biggest mistake was not to get the BB original, the best ever.
I am definitely not preppy enough for this shirt. Strangely, when I hit a local thrift this morning there was a Polo version--only with two stripe colors (red/white, blue/white). Men's XL. I'll probably start seeing them everywhere.
Have you always owned the shirt, or is it a vintage find? I live in Greenwich, CT, and the hospital auxiliary thrift shop in town is sometimes a wonderful resource for classics.
I scoop up the vintage men's OCBDs in smaller sizes when I see them. The fabric has softened with wear and good laundering, and the quality cannot be matched--at any price--today.
I certainly would have guessed BB - know that they made a shirt very much like this. Heck, wish they still did!
Reminds me of an early Tommy Hilfinger shirt that I had - only instead of poplin it was an oxford cloth. Think early/mid 90's. Loved it. Miss it.
Here in Europe I think Paul Smith had a very similar design, way back in the 1990s.
I would have guessed BB too. I'm less familiar with Seto.
I have a very similar shirt that was from Boden (www.boden.co.uk) in the 1980s; sadly Boden, like others, has lost its bearings in terms of style and quality.
Okay...here's where I'm going to ignore my mama's advice about "if you don't have anything nice to say..." Burn the shirt along with the ragg wool socks. I saw the same shirt on Garth Brooks and lost all respect (not that I ever had that much) for him. That shirt is not a good look for anyone let alone a stylish, classy gal such as yourself. Any comments left that say it looks great is a lie.
This shirt reminds me of the Duran Duran years of high school and I don't mean in a good way.

@InfoDiva - Both! I bought it directly from the Sero factory almost thirty years ago for my mother (they used to have the most amazing sales). I just rediscovered it, along with many other Sero shirts, last weekend when helping her clean out her attic.
I find the pops of color vibrant and fun. Love that it's vintage and unearthed in your mother's attic. You wear it well!

I recall ORVIS having shirts like that...in fact, they may still.
