I tend to try new paintings or prints in a few different places around the house before finding the best spot. Similarly, I like to see how new items of clothing look against others. These spring sweaters worked well with my new pair of Tipsy Skipper Skimmers.

I saw those Tipsy Skippers on another preppy blog too! Do they fit well? How do they compare to your Eliza B flats in terms of comfort? I love your stack of Lilly cardigans, very enviable. Do you always opt for cotton, or cashmere too?
@Knot Just Nautical - I find them to be very similar to my Eliza B flats, although they seem to run a bit larger. I have some cashmere, but mostly cotton.
Love the cable knit sweaters and the cardis.
I'm always in the market for a nice skimmer (I usually call them ballet flats, but no matter)and these ones you have are very cute, colorful and "preppy". Well done.
I was already won over at "Tipsy Skipper".
These are adorable! I wish this pattern also came in other colors.
Are these too dressy to wear with khakis and a polo shirt? Love the shoes and the sweaters!
So cute! I've been admiring Tipsy Skipper flats for a while now, but I was wondering how the sizing is. Online it says to order a 1/2 smaller than one's usual size, and I was wondering if this held true with you.
Thanks,
Kate
@Anonymous 5:46 - I think they would look great with khakis and a polo.
@Kate - Mine are a 9 1/2. Although I sometimes wear a 9, mostly I wear a 9 1/2, and these are just perfect. They feel great.
If I could "like" Yankee Whisky Papa's comment, I would.
@Anonymous 8:23 - So would I!
I absolutely love those shoes! They are just so pretty with both sweaters. I have the blue one, so can't wait to order some of my own...feel like Spring is in the air.
I kind of want a pair after seeing you and Sarah Vickers post about them! And your Lilly's are wonderful, of course.
I have the blue keys and they are fabulous.
so cute!! love the tipsy skippers!
