|Black and white photographs by my father|
Roger Tory Peterson introduced ornithology, one of the great New England hobbies, to so many. On the eve of his birthday, I thought I would share some of the photographs my father took of him at his home in April, 1966. My father would periodically go birding with him and his influence was a strong one in our house.
(And I always suspected he had something to do with a hognose snake that was deposited in a bag at our house. And yes, we did manage to get it out of the radiator - eventually.)
