Richard Press Presents Ivy Style

Simply put, there is no one like Richard Press.  He stands alone.  And that is evident here in this masterful Ivy Style tour.  (The video is roughly 14 minutes long.)

The Ivy Style exhibit at the Museum at the FIT will be closing January 5.  I suspect years from now, the companion book and this video will be the most enduring artifacts.

What a marvelous film! Once again I regret living in Wisconsin so I couldn't attend the exhibition in person...The accompanying book is available on Amazon, yes?

Muffy, thank you so much for making this video available for those of us who cannot see the exhibit in person. To have Richard Press as our guide is just awesome!
I had a dear friend who not only graduated from FIT but taught there many years. Unfortunately, he is now gone but left us with with great stories about FIT.

This is great to see. Living far away I knew I wouldn't be able to make it. Mr. Press is an superb presenter.

This looks interesting, but I absolutely cannot get the video to play. I wonder if others are having problems.

@Parnassus, that may depend on what browser you're using. I couldn't get it to play in Safari, but it did play in Chrome.

Stunning. I am just smiling ear to ear. I have no direct connection to an Ivy and I am born and raised in the South. However, I just feel pride and gratitude at this film short. A wonderful perspective on one of the great American legacies. And a shout out to you, Muffy. Well done and thank you for sharing.
